Dr. Becky Coats

A native Texan, Dr. Becky Coats was born and raised in Lubbock and graduated from Texas Tech University. She earned her dental degree at University of Texas Health Science Center Dental School at San Antonio and has since been committed to continuing education. She also completed a two-year advanced general dentistry residency at The University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston.

Dr. Coats provides patients with gentle, quality dental care in her Grapevine practice. She integrates the latest technology and procedures, providing an exceptional dental experience to patients. Dr. Coats received her Mastership Award in the Academy of General Dentisty in 2008. Dr. Coats is the youngest female recipient of this award. MAGD is one of Dentistry's most prestigious awards for excellence for advanced hours in continuing education and general dentistry. With over 1000 continuing education hours in five years, Dr. Coats is committed to the art and science of dentistry. Currently, she attends the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and is excited to use her knowledge and experience to provide sleep sedation, laser and Neuromuscular Dentistry.

 

Dr. Coats enjoys involvement in her community. Away from the office, she likes golfing and watching college basketball.

  • Mastership Award in Academy of General Dentistry- One of dentistry's most prestigious career goals, this award is earned by completing over 1000 hours of continued dental Education. Dr. Coats also had to give verbal presentations to her peers and instructors. Dr. Coats is the youngest female recipient of this award.
  • Fellowship Award in the Academy of General Dentistry - This award is earned by completing over 600 hours of dental education and passing a written exam. Dr. Coats is the youngest female recipient. Fellows in the Academy of General Dentistry strive for outstanding patient care and a commitment to lifelong learning.
